With Chicago North Shore Kinetics Owner Kay Min
Wednesdays 3:30PM
thursdays 4:00PM
Sundays 1:00PM
Using equipment such as free weights, kettlebells, weight plates, barbells, pull-up bars, TRXs, sandbags, medicine balls, etc. and most importantly, your bodyweight, we will work on progressive loading for building strength and generating explosive power. Attention to form and technique will be paramount to optimal and healthy joints, muscles, bones, and nervous system.
We will always start these 55-60 minute classes with mobility warm-ups for about 10-15 min (these are not necessarily easy stretches, some are quite a bit of work!), then move into lower body, upper body, trunk (aka “core”) stability, rotation, loading, and possibly some cardiovascular segments and a quick cool-down.
How does it work?
You can sign up for either Sundays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Please note there is no cross-over if you are signed up for one class or the other, i.e., if you sign up for Sundays classes, you cannot also attend Thursday classes unless you sign up for both.
There are six sessions in each series. These are not drop-in classes—you are making a commitment to the 6 week program. Please note there is no pro-rating and there are no refunds for missed classes. If you have to miss one of the classes for which you signed up, there is a possibility of a make-up in the other classes provided they are running and there is space.
If you have any physical limitations, please let me know so we can determine if this class is appropriate for you. And feel free to contact me with specific questions about this class. I hope to see you in 2026!

more About your trainer Kay Min
