Build the foundation everything else depends on.

Most fitness goals — lifting heavier, running faster, just staying steady on your feet as you get older — depend on something people skip: a body that can actually handle the load. Joints that move well. A core that stabilizes you. Balance you can trust. Lungs and muscles that don't gas out halfway through.

That's what The Four Seasons of Lifting: Back to School builds. Over 10 weeks, Coach Chris Greenhill will guide a small group through work on breathing, joint range of motion, connective tissue health, core stability, posture, balance, coordination, and overall work capacity — the foundation that makes everything else you want to do safer and more effective.

This class is a great fit if you:

  • Haven’t consistently strength trained before

  • Are starting over after an injury

  • Haven't found a program you could stick with on your own

  • Run, cycle, or do yoga/Pilates and want your body more resilient to overuse injury which are common in these activities

  • Keep tweaking something when you work out alone

  • Are nervous about getting hurt lifting weights

  • Figure you don't "need" strength training since you're already active

  • Have a doctor, partner, or family member who won't stop bringing it up
